The critical theory that was most attractive to me was the theory that spoke about class and community. I found this interesting because I think it is something we see in everything, not just literature. I think there is a lot of things that are unspoken about as well as things that are "unsayable" as pope says in every day life. I feel like this can be seen in college campuses as well when you see people who are being funded by their parents every week in comparison to people who are in debt and struggling to make it on their own.


I am excited to analyze s town in this more because i feel like it is definitely relevant since john describes the town as not having a lot of money.
